K. Saroj Adhikari is recognized for significant contributions to public health, environmental health, and health economics through both research and policy engagement. His work has been published in high-impact journals, including Springer Nature, The Lancet, BMJ, MDPI, Frontiers in Health, PLOS, and Environmental Advances. Alongside academic scholarship, the nominee has enriched Nepal’s national health discourse through widely read articles in the country’s leading online health magazine. These achievements build on a career that began after graduating from Mahidol University, where the nominee went on to serve as an Assistant Professor in Nepal and as a Health Officer in the Ministry of Health and Population. Currently a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of North Texas, US, the nominee is pursuing a PhD in Health Services with a concentration in Applied Aging and Rehabilitation. His work reflects a profound commitment to enhancing health systems and inspiring the next generation of professionals.
