Planning for healthcare programs in the city scale :
Le Hoang Hai has contributed as a core member in coordinating and implementing healthcare initiatives within Can Tho City, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. His work at the Department of Health includes the Public Health Program Development and Implementation: which involves planning, implementing, and evaluating public health programs aimed at improving the overall health and well-being of the city's population, including programs related to infectious disease control, chronic disease prevention, maternal and child health, and environmental health. For Epidemiological Surveillance and Response, he plays a key role in monitoring disease trends, identifying outbreaks, and coordinating public health responses to these outbreaks, including COVID-19. He works closely with healthcare providers, laboratories, and other stakeholders to collect data, investigate cases, and implement control measures. For Health Promotion and Education, he is responsible for developing and implementing health education campaigns to raise public awareness about health issues, promote healthy behaviors, and encourage the uptake of preventive services, including campaigns on COVID-19 prevention, vaccination, and other relevant topics. His work at the People's Committee includes Healthcare Policy Development and Implementation, he is involved in developing and implementing healthcare policies at the city level, ensuring that healthcare services are accessible, equitable, and affordable for all residents. He works on issues such as healthcare financing, resource allocation, and human resource development. COVID-19 Pandemic Response Coordination, he plays a key role in coordinating the city's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, working with various departments and agencies to implement control measures, ensure adequate healthcare resources, and communicate with the public; oversees vaccination campaigns, contact tracing efforts, and the establishment of quarantine and isolation facilities. For the Intersectional Collaboration: his team would have been responsible for fostering collaboration between the health sector and other sectors, such as education, transportation, and tourism, to address public health challenges and promote healthy communities. He has been selected to be the personal assistant of the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho City (as Major). He helps to promote the brand of Mahidol University as an excellent educational facility that can provide outstanding human resources for the government system.
