นักประชากรศาสตร์ขับเคลื่อนสังคมสูงวัยอย่างยั่งยืน :
รศ.ดร.ศุทธิดาได้นำองค์ความรู้ด้านประชากรสูงอายุไปประยุกต์ใช้ในงานวิจัยและการขับเคลื่อนสังคมอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมตลอดทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา โดยมุ่งเน้นการศึกษาผู้สูงอายุและศตวรรษิกชน เพื่อนำข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ไปสู่การพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตและการออกแบบนวัตกรรมทางสังคมสำหรับชุมชน นอกจากการสร้างความรู้ใหม่แล้ว ยังมีผลงานที่สนับสนุนการเพิ่มศักยภาพบุคลากรขององค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นในการใช้ข้อมูลประชากรเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่สังคมสูงวัยอย่างมีพลัง โครงการดังกล่าวได้รับคัดเลือกเป็นโครงการเด่นประจำปี 2567 ของสถาบันวิจัยประชากรและสังคม ถือเป็นหลักฐานสำคัญของผลลัพธ์เชิงสังคมและการสร้างประโยชน์ในระดับชาติ ทั้งในด้านการพัฒนานโยบาย การยกระดับชุมชน และการเสริมสร้างชื่อเสียงทางวิชาการของประเทศในเวทีระดับนานาชาติ จากความมุ่งมั่นตั้งใจส่งผลท่านได้รับรางวัล MU’s Teaching Excellence Award 2025

นักประชากรศาสตร์ผู้ขับเคลื่อนความรู้สู่สังคม :
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.จงจิตต์เป็นนักประชากรศาสตร์ผู้มีบทบาทสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ด้านประชากรกับการสื่อสารสาธารณะ เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจต่อสถานการณ์เด็กเกิดน้อยและการเข้าสู่สังคมสูงวัยของประเทศไทย ท่านได้นำผลการวิจัยสู่สังคมอย่างต่อเนื่องผ่านสื่อระดับชาติและนานาชาติ ซึ่งช่วยให้ประเด็นประชากรกลายเป็นเรื่องใกล้ตัวของประชาชน สนับสนุนการกำหนดนโยบายที่ตอบโจทย์อนาคตของประเทศ ผลงานของท่านสอดคล้องกับพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลในการใช้ความรู้เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตประชาชน โดยสะท้อนถึงบทบาทนักวิชาการที่แปลงข้อมูลเชิงประชากรให้เข้าใจง่ายและสื่อสารได้อย่างเข้าถึง นอกจากนี้ ท่านยังได้รับเชิญเป็นวิทยากรและผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิในเวทีวิชาการและนโยบายระดับชาติหลายแห่ง แสดงให้เห็นถึงการบูรณาการความเชี่ยวชาญด้านประชากรกับการสื่อสารเพื่อสังคม ซึ่งมีส่วนสำคัญในการยกระดับความเข้าใจของสาธารณชน และขับเคลื่อนประเทศให้พร้อมรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางประชากรในศตวรรษที่ 21 อย่างยั่งยืน นอกจากนี้ท่านยังเป็นอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาตัวอย่าง โดยมีหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์คือนักศึกษาภายใต้การดูแลของท่านจากหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาประชากรและสุขภาพทางเพศและอนามัยเจริญพันธุ์ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) Ms. Tshewang Yeden ได้รับรางวัล Outstanding Thesis Awards Promoting Mahidol University’s SDGs Policies for Fiscal Year 2024 จากวิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง “Factors Associated with Menstrual Hygiene Practices Among Buddhist Nuns in Bhutan”

NCD Prevention Pioneer in East Kalimantan Timur :
Assistant Professor Dr. Purwo is actively involved in teaching, research, and community programs in public health. A key achievement is his leadership in a stunting prevention initiative across East Kalimantan, involving around 1,000 students and faculty members. He structured student participation by academic year, from training first-year students in public speaking to assigning final-year students to educate women of reproductive age. He also led research on stunting risk factors that helped shape local government policies. He regularly publishes studies using national secondary data, some of which support policies by the National Population and Family Planning Agency. Since 2018, he has guided numerous students who have gone on to become professionals in the public health field.

Champion of gender-responsive public health :
Professor Dr. Fariha Haseen is a leading authority in reproductive health, gender equity, and adolescent well-being in Bangladesh. She serves as Professor and Head of the Division of Reproductive and Child Health, and Director of the Centre for Gender and Women’s Health Research at the Department of Public Health and Informatics of Bangladesh Medical University (BMU). Her teaching includes research ethics, gender, sexual and reproductive health (SRH), adolescent health (AH), and social medicine and behavioral sciences. Research portfolio spans gender-responsive health system and leadership, artificial intelligence, ASRH, child marriage in climate-vulnerable contexts, cervical cancer prevention, and HPV vaccine. She has secured competitive grants and published extensively in national and international forums. Her policy leadership includes co-authoring the Adolescent-Friendly Health Services Training Manual (DGFP, MOHFW, 2019), National Menstrual Hygiene Management Strategy (2018–2020), and National Adolescent Health Strategy 2017–2030. Professor Haseen is a member of the Institutional Review Board of BMU and JPGSPH of BRAC University, IGCS, IPVS, and Avoidable Death Network (ADN), Bangladesh Bioethics Society. She served in the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG) of Bangladesh. She is widely recognized for mentoring emerging public health scholars and practitioners. Her career reflects an enduring commitment to equity-driven, evidence-based health innovation.

คุณสุริยนต์เป็นหนึ่งในผู้ก่อตั้งบริษัท ป่าใหญ่ ครีเอชั่น จำกัด เป็นนักเขียนและผู้กำกับสารคดีด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม วัฒนธรรม และสังคม ผลงานเด่น ได้แก่ สารคดีชุด “ผู้เฒ่ากับดาวรุ่ง” สะท้อนความขัดแย้งระหว่างวัยในชุมชนไทย ได้รับทุนจากกองทุนพัฒนาสื่อปลอดภัยและสร้างสรรค์ สารคดี “Duck Academy” เล่าเรื่องความมุ่งมั่นของชาวนาไทยที่จะผลิตอาหารปลอดภัยโดยไม่ใช้สารเคมีโดยทำการฝึกเป็ดกว่า 3,000 ตัวให้ช่วยกำจัดศัตรูพืชและให้ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ “Duck Academy” ได้รับรางวัล Best ASEAN Project Pitch (2561) และ Best Short Documentary (2562) และถูกนำไปฉายที่เทศกาลสารคดีและสถานีโทรทัศน์ในหลายประเทศ เช่น ฝรั่งเศส เยอรมนี สวิตเซอร์แลนด์ โปแลนด์ เกาหลีใต้ และไต้หวัน รวมทั้งสถานีโทรทัศน์ที่เผยแพร่ทั่วโลก เช่น Deutsche Welle และ NHK World จากการพัฒนาการผลิตรายการทั้งทางด้านเนื้อหาที่หลากหลาย และเทคโนโลยีการถ่ายทำที่ก้าวไกล ทำให้บริษัทป่าใหญ่ฯ ได้รับการยอมรับทั้งในและต่างประเทศจนได้รับรางวัล JAPAN PRIZE International Educational Program Contest ซึ่งเป็นครั้งแรกที่ผู้ผลิตรายการโทรทัศน์ไทยได้รับรางวัลดังกล่าวของสถานีโทรทัศน์ NHK ประเทศญี่ปุ่น

Dr. Sharad Kumar Sharma is a distinguished demographer with expertise in population health, reproductive health, and program evaluation. A Ph.D. graduate from Mahidol University, his innovative research on obstetric morbidity in Thailand has had a profound impact on shaping maternal health policies. He is the Deputy Chief Statistician at Nepal’s National Statistics Office (NSO). Before joining NSO, Dr. Sharma played a pivotal role under the Ministry of Health and Population in strengthening the Health Management Information System, Health System Research, and Surveillance in Nepal. He has also led several high-impact projects, including Nepal’s Tuberculosis Prevalence Survey, the Tuberculosis Patient Cost Survey, the Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response initiative, and various health system evaluations. Dr. Sharma’s expertise drives innovation and fosters societal progress through evidence-based policymaking and effective implementation.

Demography & socio-economic development scholar :
Prof. Dr. Ellawala Liyanage Sunethra Jayathilake Perera is a renowned scholar in the field of demography, widely recognized for her contributions to understanding population dynamics and their impact on socio-economic development in Asia with special focus on Sri Lanka. Her research on international migration, internal migration and urbanization, fertility transitions, ageing populations and demographic trends has contributed for policymaking, particularly in Sri Lanka. Beyond academia, she has actively worked on community development in urban ‘underserved settings’ guiding research-based initiatives in social mobilization, community empowerment, educating young children and empowering marginalized populations. She encourages creative, multidisciplinary approaches to problem-solving, inspiring both students and colleagues to think innovatively to address emerging population issues in the 21st century. Her legacy is built on a combination of academic excellence, societal contributions, and a dedication to fostering creativity. Her mentorship continues to influence new generations of higher education learners and researchers in the fields of demography and allied fields.

Planning for healthcare programs in the city scale :
Le Hoang Hai has contributed as a core member in coordinating and implementing healthcare initiatives within Can Tho City, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. His work at the Department of Health includes the Public Health Program Development and Implementation: which involves planning, implementing, and evaluating public health programs aimed at improving the overall health and well-being of the city's population, including programs related to infectious disease control, chronic disease prevention, maternal and child health, and environmental health. For Epidemiological Surveillance and Response, he plays a key role in monitoring disease trends, identifying outbreaks, and coordinating public health responses to these outbreaks, including COVID-19. He works closely with healthcare providers, laboratories, and other stakeholders to collect data, investigate cases, and implement control measures. For Health Promotion and Education, he is responsible for developing and implementing health education campaigns to raise public awareness about health issues, promote healthy behaviors, and encourage the uptake of preventive services, including campaigns on COVID-19 prevention, vaccination, and other relevant topics. His work at the People's Committee includes Healthcare Policy Development and Implementation, he is involved in developing and implementing healthcare policies at the city level, ensuring that healthcare services are accessible, equitable, and affordable for all residents. He works on issues such as healthcare financing, resource allocation, and human resource development. COVID-19 Pandemic Response Coordination, he plays a key role in coordinating the city's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, working with various departments and agencies to implement control measures, ensure adequate healthcare resources, and communicate with the public; oversees vaccination campaigns, contact tracing efforts, and the establishment of quarantine and isolation facilities. For the Intersectional Collaboration: his team would have been responsible for fostering collaboration between the health sector and other sectors, such as education, transportation, and tourism, to address public health challenges and promote healthy communities. He has been selected to be the personal assistant of the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho City (as Major). He helps to promote the brand of Mahidol University as an excellent educational facility that can provide outstanding human resources for the government system.

ผู้ผลักดันนโยบายสุขภาพและความหลากหลายทางสังคม :
หลังสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทสาขาวิจัยประชากรและสังคม จากสถาบันวิจัยประชากรและสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในปีการศึกษา 2544 คุณศรีสุมาลย์ได้ทำงานด้านการบริหารโครงการสุขภาพ เช่น ในปี 2549 เธอเป็นหนึ่งในผู้ริเริ่มจัดการส่งเสริมการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์ในสังคมไทยโดยการใช้ถุงยางอนามัย และการป้องกันเอชไอวีเป็นเรื่องที่สามารถกระทำได้โดยไม่ตีตราผู้ที่ซื้อถุงยางอนามัย โดยเฉพาะเยาวชน โดยรับหน้าที่ในการระดมทุน ติดต่อภาคธุรกิจ ประสานกับผู้ที่มีชื่อเสียงในสังคมไทยในขณะนั้นเพื่อทำการรณรงค์ในเรื่องการใช้ถุงยางอนามัยเพื่อเป็นเครื่องมือในการดูแลสุขภาพ และการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์รวมถึงการตั้งครรภ์ หลังจากนั้นในปี 2552 – 2555 เธอได้เป็นผู้บริหารโครงการ Youth Advisory Panel ของ UNFPA เพื่อการพัฒนาศักยภาพเยาวชนให้สามารถให้ความเห็นในด้านอนามัยการเจริญพันธุ์ เป็นผู้แทนและเป็นกระบอกเสียงในเวทีภาครัฐ ภาคประชาสังคม และเวทีการประชุมระหว่างประเทศ ด้วยประสบการณ์กว่า 30 ปี เธอประสบความสำเร็จในการบริหารโครงการสุขภาพที่ซับซ้อนและสร้างความร่วมมือเชิงกลยุทธ์อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยมีความเป็นผู้นำและความเชี่ยวชาญในการบริหารโครงการ การสร้างความสัมพันธ์กับผู้ให้ทุน การผลักดันนโยบายและการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากร มีประสบการณ์การทำงานที่ครอบคลุมประเด็นด้านสุขภาพหลากหลาย รวมถึงเอชไอวี วัณโรค มาลาเรีย อนามัยการเจริญพันธุ์ และโรคไม่ติดต่อ พร้อมกับการผสานความพยายามในระดับชาติเข้ากับความริเริ่มด้านสุขภาพระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลก นอกจากนี้ เธอยังได้ทำงานในประเด็นต่าง ๆ เช่น สิทธิมนุษยชน การเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจให้ผู้หญิง สิทธิเด็ก และการพัฒนาศักยภาพของชุมชน เธอได้ร่วมงานกับผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียสำคัญ เช่น USAID, UNAIDS, WHO และพันธมิตรภาคเอกชน เพื่อขับเคลื่อนแนวทางแก้ปัญหาสุขภาพที่ยั่งยืนในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ด้วยความเชี่ยวชาญในการออกแบบและดำเนินการระบบติดตามและประเมินผล การรับรองคุณภาพของข้อมูล และการสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจบนฐานของหลักฐาน ปัจจุบันคุณศรีสุมาลย์ ปฏิบัติหน้าที่เป็นผู้แทนโครงการ EpiC ประเทศไทย (FHI 360) ในโครงการนวัตกรรมบริการเพื่อส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงสุขภาพทางเพศและสุขภาพใจในกลุ่มผู้หญิง เยาวชนหญิงและเยาวชนที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนจากสำนักงานกองทุนสนับสนุนการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพ (สสส.) โดยการสนับสนุนจากองค์การความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนาระหว่างประเทศแห่งสหรัฐอเมริกา ซึ่งเป็นการบูรณาการส่งเสริมสุขภาวะทางเพศในกลุ่มวัยรุ่น เพื่อนำร่องจัดบริการสุขภาพทางเพศ สุขภาพจิต โดยคนในชุมชนในเขตพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร
