Community Medical Technology and Health Detective

K.Wasuanan graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Medical Technology) program from Mahidol University. He has experience in working with communities since 1997 starting from the position of nurse sergeant at Suranaree Camp Hospital and Task Force 25 to provide medical support for conflict resolution in the 3 southern border provinces of Thailand. He received a certificate of honor and was awarded the Golden Garuda Medal for outstanding civil service at the national level in 2023 from the Office of the Prime Minister (Thailand) and won outstanding healthcare personnel awards in 2022 from the Foundation for The Crown Prince Hospital. Throughout his working life, he has dedicated himself to developing the medical technology profession. In addition to this work, he has also used his knowledge of medical techniques to promote health for the youth volunteer network and founded the Health Detective volunteer group from high school students at Pua School, Nan Province. By providing knowledge about upstream health so that the youth can take care of their health and their families as volunteers and pass on health knowledge to the community in their area. He brings health knowledge through health tools in many dimensions as a guideline for assessing health monitoring as basic health factors throughout each period of life for well being and quality of life of the people.
