K.Sala graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Radiological Technology) program from the Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University. He is the first person who holds an expert-level academic position in radiological technology in Thailand. He has experience, knowledge, and ability to use radiology technology and information technology to develop the system to integrate the Radiology Information System (RIS) with the Hospital Information System (HIS). He works to develop Picture Archive Communication System (PACS), Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA), Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computer Tomography 64 slice, U/S(Ultrasound), and various radiologic technologies for various agencies in Thailand. In the field of personnel development, He prepares summary information on manpower and personnel shortage situations in the Thai radiological technology field. He also works for education and training for radiological technology professionals in Thailand and organized a workshop on developing health workforce information systems between the Health Professions Council and the Ministry of Public Health in Thailand. His works were widely recognized and he received many awards the most recent one is the Outstanding Contribution Award 2023 from Macao Radiological Technologists’ Association.
