When Dr.Supattra studied molecular genetics and genetic engineering for her Doctor of Philosophy at Mahidol University. She has the intention to do research that can be used for the benefit of the community. The atmosphere from her alma mater and research experiences gained while studying for her Master's and Doctoral degrees helped her expect benefits from research projects and conceptual frameworks that are the actual needs of Thailand's shrimp industry, dealing with intellectual property rights of her research project and taking step for further commercial use. More than 13 years of experience as a researcher who focuses on innovation development. Her research projects have positive impact on Thailand's shrimp industry to be able to compete in the world shrimp market. She has 2 impactful research outcomes that greatly benefit Thailand's shrimp industry including Transgender Giant Freshwater Prawn MU1 and Monoclonal Antibody for Induction of Ovarian Maturation in Shrimp, these projects can reduce the cost of shrimp production, increase income for shrimp farmers, and help the economic system of Thailand by increasing opportunities for shrimp exports.
