She is a pioneer in nursing profession who is determined to develop Thailand’s nursing standard.
She served as the Chair of the collaborative project to produce Ph.D. in Nursing, the Ministry of University Affairs. She enhanced Thailand’s nursing education to meet national and international standard. She served several roles in Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council especially the Head of Council for 4 terms to drive the public health policy of Thailand. She contributed outstanding works in an international level.She was appointed as the Committee of WHO Technical Working Group in 2007-2009 to establish Global Health Workers Policy and Codes of Practice, and she was also appointed in WHO Global Advisory Group for Health and Nursing Development. According to her ability and determination to continually enhance nursing profession, she was given Sri Sangwan Award in nursing policy leadership in 2018.
