Thai Massage Researcher & Physiotherapy Innovation :

Professor Dr. Wichai leads a research team that focuses on studying the physiological mechanisms and effectiveness of Thai massage in patients with various conditions. He established a research group in this field at the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University. His research on Thai massage has been published in both national and international journals and has gained worldwide recognition. He conducts training sessions on the knowledge and skills of Thai massage for the general public, local massage therapists, physical therapy students, and other students. He has authored books on Thai massage. He also served as an invited speaker on Thai massage both domestically and internationally. He created inventions and innovations related to Thai massage to alleviate work-related muscle pain, such as the "Wilai Massage Hook," a massage and lumbar traction bed. Additionally, he has developed an innovative turning bed to prevent pressure ulcers for bedridden patients who are unable to move."
