K. Pakorn is diligent in his work, especially in the field of translation and interpretation. He was able to develop his skills and become an expert in the translator and interpreter industry in Thailand. K. Pakorn adheres to morality and ethics in his life and career. He is the one who drives the idea of developing professional ethics and codes of conduct guidelines for translators and interpreters in Thailand. These careers are vital professions in many aspects of Thai society, including social and economic development, public health, law enforcement, human rights and individual rights in the justice system, equality, and cultures. Interpreters and language practitioners were often perceived as an issue in the communication process, often due to the lack of understanding of one’s role and professional boundaries. This guideline includes raising awareness about the psychological effects of interpreting in various situations and creating an understanding of self-care among professionals. K. Pakorn also works as a volunteer in translating and interpreting all the time and his dedication has been recognized by being appointed to the position of the president of the Translators and Interpreters Association of Thailand in 2022.
