Dr. Nantaka dedicate her work to all trauma patients affected by the ongoing conflict in southern Thailand since 2004. She has approximately 4,825 out-patients, 1,900 in-patients, 424 intensive care patients, and 575 brain and orthopedic surgery patients per year. Dr. Nantaka won the Outstanding Neurosurgeon Award in 2012 and the Outstanding Surgeon Award in 2015 from the Royal College of Neurological Surgeons of Thailand. She was also recognized by the Medical Association of Thailand as the doctor in the hearts of Yala province's people. The video clips that tell her biography through the social media sites of the Mahidol Channel have more than 1 million views.
