She is a pioneer in Nursing curriculum who first established and drove Ph.D. education in Nursing of Thailand. She contributed herself to developing students, instruction, and also collaborating with leading universities abroad. Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University has received recognition in an international level due to her efforts and contribution. Indeed, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Kobkul Phancharoenworakulis the first Thai scholar who was appointed in Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing: FAAN (2012). Throughout her career, she encouraged Thai people hygiene and promoted Thailand’s public health legislation. Despite her retirement, she still actively helps enhance the Faculty of Nursing. She was given Mahidol Thayakorn Awards as an outstanding alumni in 2008.
