Engineer who develops Medical Robotics Innovations :
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit has created innovations in medical robotics and has been an executive for over 18 years. He plays an important role in developing digital healthcare and many types of robots. In addition, he supports the telemedicine systems in Thailand to develop into reality and efficiency, such as intelligent medical assistant robots, rescue robots, surgical robots, and robotic surgery training. Moreover, he is also the pioneer in the establishment of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University to be the first in Thailand and ASEAN. He is the founder of the BART LAB center, which is a source of research and development of medical robot technology. He was also elected as the President of the Thai Robotics Society, and the chairman of the RoboCup Thailand Competition, RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2017, and World RoboCup 2022 events. In terms of administration, he is the two-term Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, at Mahidol University and was elected as the Chairman of the Council of Engineering Deans of Thailand (CEDT) which members include 64 universities that offer engineering programs throughout Thailand for 2 terms. Under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University is the first university in Thailand to be accredited with ABET standards from the USA for 6 engineering programs and become the first engineering and technology institute to receive the TQC Award in 2022.
