Assoc. Prof. Promchit is recognized for her outstanding work in the field of Thai herbal medicine. She has been a key figure in advancing herbal medicine scientifically, preserving and building upon Thai research and wisdom to produce tangible results. She has played a crucial role in promoting and supporting interdisciplinary and inter-university work, leading to successful herbal innovations. Her efforts have established clear standards and directions for Thai herbal research, meeting the country's and society's needs. Additionally, she has played a significant role in elevating and laying the foundation for the management of the Sirirukachart Herb Garden, transforming it into the Sireeruckhachati Nature Learning Park. This development aims to create a comprehensive learning center for herbal plants, providing the public with knowledge to study and apply in daily life, thereby enhancing the self-reliance of Thai society in health and wellness.
“Over the 54 years spent here, starting from being admitted to the Faculty of Pharmacy, I hoped that this place would allow me to develop myself and build a good future. I participated in both curricular and extracurricular activities until graduation and became a faculty member. It was a period of pride and enthusiasm to work in the profession I loved, improving teaching methods to be more appropriate. This place provided opportunities to learn, gain new experiences, and apply them in line with the ever-changing technology and Thai society. Professional challenges were studied, analyzed, and synthesized, making me more professional. I spent the remaining time creating various works for the profession and society to the best of my ability.
