Leader in education for a sustainable society :
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aiya currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Science, Energy and Environment at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Rayong Campus. For more than a decade, from 2012 to the present, he has dedicated himself to an academic career spanning roles from lecturer to senior administrator, with a strong commitment to producing undergraduate and graduate students in chemical industrial processes and environmental studies, as well as in energy technology and management. To date, he has contributed to the development of more than 1,000 graduates equipped with knowledge, professional competence, and a strong sense of social responsibility. In addition, he is an accomplished researcher with expertise in environmental and energy microbiology. He has published over 30 research articles indexed in TCI and Scopus, holds one item of intellectual property, and has been entrusted as an expert reviewer for more than 150 research articles in the fields of environment and energy. At present, he remains committed to advancing teaching and learning, research, and organizational management by integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the faculty’s mission, while also transferring and disseminating knowledge to communities to drive sustainable social and environmental development.
