Change leader creating a safe working society :
Mr. Sakdisilpa has played an exceptionally significant role in the public sector through his dedication to driving and advancing Thailand’s occupational safety, health, and working environment in a concrete and sustainable manner. He has been a key force in promoting the “Safety Thailand” policy to raise national standards of workplace safety through three core mechanisms: strong enforcement of safety legislation, the development and dissemination of safety knowledge to relevant agencies and stakeholders, and the establishment of robust safety networks encompassing all sectors. These efforts have led to a continuous and demonstrable reduction in national statistics on work-related accidents. In addition, he has initiated and driven major projects that have made substantial contributions to society and the nation, such as the “Safe Transport Safe Life” project and the management of the Occupational Safety and Health Knowledge Development Center established in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, both of which have achieved notable success and received the Public Sector Service Award in 2023. He has also played a prominent role in advancing Thailand’s ratification of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention No. 155 on Occupational Safety and Health, 1981, marking a significant milestone in elevating Thai labor standards, strengthening confidence, and enhancing Thailand’s positive image on the international stage.
