K.Suriyon is the co-founder of Pa-Yai Creation Co., Ltd. He is a writer and documentary filmmaker whose work focuses on environmental, cultural, and social issues. His notable work includes the documentary series The Elder and the Rising Star, which portrays intergenerational conflict within Thai communities. This project was supported by the Thai Media Fund for Safe and Creative Media. His acclaimed documentary Duck Academy tells the story of Thai farmers dedicated to producing safe, chemical-free food by training over 3,000 ducks to eliminate pests and fertilize rice fields organically. Duck Academy received the Best ASEAN Project Pitch award in 2018 and the Best Short Documentary award in 2019. It was screened at various international documentary festivals and broadcast on television channels in countries such as France, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, South Korea, and Taiwan, as well as on global networks including Deutsche Welle and NHK World. Through the development of both diverse program content and advanced filming technology, Pa Yai Co., Ltd. has gained recognition domestically and internationally, culminating in winning the JAPAN PRIZE International Educational Program Contest from NHK, Japan, marking the first time a Thai television producer has received this award.
