Prof. Dr. Supa is a distinguished academic whose outstanding contributions are widely recognized in the field of public health, both nationally and internationally. She has effectively applied academically proven public health knowledge to develop and solve health issues, particularly in health promotion and disease prevention, benefiting people of all age groups. She plays a vital role in building international academic networks and promoting research collaboration with scholars worldwide. Additionally, she contributes to the development of medical personnel, academics, and researchers through training programs, research consultation, and support for international publication of research work. These efforts have led to the creation of new knowledge that is globally acknowledged and have enhanced Thailand’s image on the global academic stage. Prof. Dr. Supa is also dedicated to nurturing the next generation of researchers. She devotes her personal time to teaching, mentoring, and supporting student research. She even uses her own funds to provide opportunities for students and young researchers to study, explore, and publish their work, thereby truly enhancing their potential and capabilities. Due to her remarkable contributions and continuous dedication to the development of public health in Thailand and beyond, she was honored with Mahidol University’s Researcher of the Year 2025 Award in the category of High Impact Researcher in Health Science.
