Promoter of experimental animal science curriculum:
K. Thunyatorn is an experienced laboratory animal veterinarian with over 11 years of experience in the care and use of laboratory animals. She specializes in laboratory animal science and has managed the Laboratory Animal Center at the Office of Science and Technology at Thammasat University, achieving AAALAC International accreditation (Campus-Wide), the first and only institution in Thailand to receive this international standard for the care and use of laboratory animals for over seven years. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Laboratory Animal Center at the Office of Science and Technology at Thammasat University and a committee member of the Institute for Promoting Science and Technology for Animal Use in Research under the Research Council of Thailand. She plays a crucial role in promoting animal welfare for scientific research and ensuring ethical standards in animal use. She also holds the position of AdHoc Specialist for AAALAC International, promoting laboratory animal care programs globally, and working on advancing laboratory animal science courses in Thailand to meet international standards.
