Dr. Witsarut promotes the development of projects that utilize natural gas instead of flaring it. This involves encouraging the use of associated gas—a type of natural gas produced alongside crude oil—which typically exists in small quantities and at low pressure. Such gas can be repurposed as fuel for small-scale electricity generators or as an alternative to LPG for community-based agricultural product processing enterprises. He also has experience managing various projects, such as: Thailand E&P Installations Decommissioning Project Thailand Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Roadmap Project and Flare Gas Utilization Project. Additionally, Dr. Witsarut has teaching experience, having lectured both undergraduate and graduate students in the Petroleum Engineering Department of leading universities in Thailand.
