Dentist and S.E.A Write Award Winner 2024 :
Dr. Prasertsak is a dentist who works in rural communities. He has served as the head of Human Resources Development and as the head of health education, an advisor to the Teen Friend Clinic, and the project manager of Stop Teen Mom at Phoncharoen Hospital. He was awarded the Outstanding Dentist of Bueng Kan Province in 2015. Additionally, he has literary talents and has received numerous accolades, such as winning the general public category in the science fiction short story competition (NSM) and being the runner-up in the Pan Waan Fah literary competition (Office of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives). Currently, his novel 'Kibad' has won the ASEAN Literary Award (SEA Write) for 2024. His literary art combines traditional literary styles with new creations, using the art of weaving and patterns to convey meaning and narrate the story with sophistication, full of local color. It leads readers to the emotional depths of the human condition, showing that no matter how painful the experiences or memories, life must go on, weaving the cultural stories of humanity.
