According to Microsoft Corp. has announced a change to its policy regarding the allocation of OneDrive storage space for users within the educational sector. In addition, Mahidol University is in a preparatory phase for the deployment of generative AI (Microsoft 365 Copilot) and other features for our students, faculty staff, staff and retired staff. Therefore, the allocated storage capacity will be reduced from 100 GB per account to 1 GB per account.
In this regard, to minimize a risk of the change in service policy from Microsoft Corp. we respectfully request that you conduct a thorough assessment of current storage utilization. We also request that you transfer the data from Mahidol University OneDrive on Microsoft 365 and ensure that the remaining storage space is limited to a maximum of 1 GB by February 1, 2025.
